We have some great customers! Many of you email us after receiving your Rain-shine product to say how much you love it and to thank us for great customer service. We really can’t express here how much we love to receive these emails!
We can write product descriptions, listing features and benefits but only the user can really see the true advantages to the products. That’s why we occasionally ask customer product reviews – as mentioned above we love to hear from you and this is even better as we get to hear what you REALLY think about our Rain-shine range. Potential customers also benefit from these reviews as they are by real people using our products. Here are just a few below:
Keela Childrens Waterproof Jacket
Claire says “I contacted Laura at Rain-shine in a panic when I realised that my 5 year old daughter Chloe had grown out of her rainmac and we were due to go on a 2 week caravanning holiday 3 days later. Knowing the British weather, I wanted to be prepared! We didn’t need a heavy weight coat that I’d have to drag around and I didn’t want one of those cheap plastic macs that only last a short time before they tear. Laura recommended that I go for the Keela lightweight mac and it was a great recommendation. As it happened, we had the hottest 2 weeks imaginable for our holiday in the New Forest and the Isle of Wight. The rainmac didn’t see the light of day for the full two weeks but I carried it around in my handbag, in its little pouch and forgot it was there because it hardly weighed a thing. Good job I did because on the ferry home from the Isle of Wight it got really blustery with a chill wind. I dug out the Keela mac for Chloe which was perfect. It kept out the wind and it was warm, but not TOO warm. When we reached port and the wind dropped, I stowed it back away again. It really got put to the test on our return because we had a few days of downpours. It kept out torrential rain, the hood was a snug fit and didn’t keep falling down or blowing off (like some cheap coat hoods). It’s breathable too, and with just enough press studs on the collar to keep out the cold and wet, but not enough to be uncomfortable. This is a really fab little coat. Chloe loves it and has no issues wearing it (which is something of a miracle for a 5 year old girl) – it does help that it’s a lovely shade of raspberry pink. It’s also got reflective piping on the front so it will do nicely when the nights close in.
Kids UV sun hat
Emma says: “it was great having it as it kept him all protected against the sun, he liked it as well, he usually pulls hats off his head, but this one he didn’t seem to mind, which was great. I’m very glad you sent it and i’ll be happy to keep using it :) He went to the Five Sister’s Zoo with his childminder a few weeks ago and she loved that I had it to give her as she was concerned about the sun affecting Finlay, she said he wore it all through the trip and it gave her peace of mind that he wasn’t coming back to me all sun burnt!” Emma
Jill says: “It’s a great item, very good head, neck and ear coverage to protect from the sun. Long peak on the cap so good eye protection given also. The size we received is 4-6 year old but my boys have large heads and at 3.5yrs it fits my eldest son perfectly with growing room too though! Long peak on the cap so good eye protection given also”.
Ross says: “We have managed to seriously test drive the cap, paddling pools, sea, sun and general wear! Overall verdict; great hat!For Harley to want to wear it means it must have been good. Having the neck protection is a really good feature, having an elasticated lip helps keep it on. The fact that it can get wet means it can go with him anywhere, then when he’s drying off so was his hat, which we found dried really quickly.“
All in one waterproof by Regatta
Pushchair Walks – 4 STAR REVIEW – “The regatta all-in-one is a lightweight suit with fully taped seams making it both fully waterproof and windproof. Cuffs and legs are elasticated to ensure minimum water entry and the waist is elasticated too providing a close and comfortable fit. We especially like the full length zip, which makes it easy to put on the wriggliest toddler, and the snug fit hood. This handy waterproof is machine washable and available in sizes 12 months to 6 years. The suit comes in five colour choices and if you buy it through the link below you will get it at a bargain price too! Overall – A great lightweight all-in-one that’s value for money too.”
Mumpreneur Christmas Guide – 4 STAR REVIEW – the regatta all in one waterproof also gained a 4 star award in the Mumpreneur Christmas Guide 2012.
Zoggs little phantom goggles
Jane says: “Philip has been loving the goggles! Even wears them in the shower … they don’t mist up at all, and don’t even let in bubbles! He’s got them on at the pool just now and we’re taking them on holiday in a couple of weeks to try them in the great outdoors.”Jane
Reuseable swim nappy
Helen says: “My little girl, Evie, is 9 months old and we have been keen swimmers since she was 6 weeks. I have struggled to get swim nappies to fit however my search came to an end at the Edinburgh baby show when I found the rain-shine stall. I saw the swim nappy and instantly knew this was it. I can’t believe how light it is on Evie, how easy it is to put on, how quickly it dries and how effective it is not to mention how cute she is in it (but then I am a little biased!) Needless to say I love it! I was so pleased when I discovered later that we had also won the prize draw now Evie and I can go swimming twice as much or simply choose to go with the nappy that best matches mummys costume! Thank you rain-shine keep up those good product choices.”
